About these terms

These terms apply to the use of this website and to courier, delivery and distribution services provided by Zak Marketing & Distribution Ltd, registered office T 39 & 41 Bent Street, Manchester, England, M8 8NW.

Quotations

Quotations are based on the information supplied by you and remain valid for the period stated. If the goods, addresses, access arrangements or timings differ from those described, the price may be revised.

Bookings and collections

A booking is confirmed once we accept it in writing. Collection and delivery times are given in good faith and are estimates; while we plan carefully, we cannot accept liability for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or other circumstances beyond our control.

Goods carried

You must ensure goods are properly packaged, correctly labelled and lawful to transport. We do not carry hazardous, illegal, perishable, live or high-value prohibited items unless expressly agreed in writing in advance.

Liability

Our liability for loss or damage to goods in transit is limited to the extent permitted by law and by the terms of the insurance in place for the relevant consignment. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit. Details of cover available for a particular consignment are provided on request before collection.

Charges and payment

Charges are payable in accordance with the quotation or agreed account terms. Waiting time, failed deliveries, re-deliveries and additional stops may incur further charges.

Cancellation

Bookings cancelled before a driver has been despatched are not charged. Where a driver is already en route or on site, a charge may apply to cover the work undertaken.

Governing law
